Flower Shop in Quezon City

 Citiflora Makati Office

Philippine Blooms is a brand name of Citiflora Flower Shop. It began in 1996 along Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City and was under the name of Flowers & Vines. Currently, it is located at 19-C Road 1, Barangay Project 6, Quezon City. Philippine Blooms Flower Shop is one of the best flower shops in Quezon City. As a result of the owners’ decades of experience in the flower industry, Philippine Blooms / Citiflora became known for fresh quality flowers, elegant floral designs, and excellent customer service provided by a team of well-trained florists and caring customer support staff.

Before establishing Philippine Blooms / Citiflora, Larry Darroca has worked as a florist at reputable flower shops, one of which is located in Muscat, Oman and owned by an international European company. After several years of training abroad, Larry came back to the Philippines to work in one of the most prestigious companies in Makati City. He pursued his passion and worked once again as a floral designer; and later on, he also became an event stylist and a visual stylist for the same company. To finally demonstrate the fruits of his labor and training, he established Philippine Blooms / Citiflora in 2008 in Project 6, Quezon City. Larry shared his talent in flower arranging to young aspiring florists and worked to develop his signature style.

Philippine Blooms / Citiflora Flower Shop became a big success and has made several appearances in the following TV shows: Unang Hirit (GMA 7, October 2011),  Good Morning Club (TV 5, July 2013), Good Morning Club (TV 5, October 2013), Good Morning Club (TV 5, February 2014), and Kabuhayang Swak na Swak (ABS-CBN, September 2015). In 2013, Citiflora also sponsored for Miss World International.

As a way to share blessings to the Filipino community, Larry Darroca joined the Rotary Club of Makati San Antonio (RCMSA), District 3830 in 2015 and Children of Notre Dame Org., Inc. (COND) from 2016 to 2018. He was given the opportunity to contribute to peace and conflict prevention/resolution, disease prevention and treatment, water and sanitation, maternal and child health, basic education and literacy, and economic and community development. He was elected as Club President of RCMSA in 2017, and Org. President of COND in 2016. As President of these organizations, he led several service projects which involved donating school supplies and drinking water facilities, gift giving, food feeding, tree planting, and medical and dental missions. These service projects were held in different locations including San Antonio Village, Makati City; Western Bicutan, Taguig; Sta. Cruz, Laguna; Isulan, Sultan Kudarat; Sto. Niño, South Cotabato; Basco, Batanes; Araceli, Palawan; Cabading Eco Park, Antipolo City; Baseco Compound, Manila City; Bustos, Bulacan; Taytay, Rizal; and San Jose, Nueva Ecija.

The first branch of Citiflora was established in Quezon City because of its progressive locality. Quezon City also known as QC is the most populous and a highly urbanized city in the Philippines. It was founded by and named after Manuel L. Quezon, the 2nd President of the Philippines, to eventually replace Manila as the national capital. The city was proclaimed as such in 1948. However, since practically all government buildings are still in Manila, many functions of national government remained there. Quezon City held the status as the official

capital until 1976 when a presidential decree was issued to designate Manila as the capital and Metro Manila as the seat of government.

It is the largest city in terms of population and land area in Metro Manila, the National Capital Region of the Philippines. Quezon City is not located in and should not be confused with Quezon Province, which was also named after the president.

Quezon City now hosts a number of government offices, the most important of which are the Batasang Pambansa Complex (the seat of the House of Representatives, the lower chamber of the Philippine Congress), and the Quezon City Reception House (the current seat of the Vice President of the Philippines). Quezon City also serves as home to the University of the Philippines Diliman—the national university—and Ateneo de Manila University.

The Quezon Memorial Circle is a national park and shrine located in Quezon City. The park is an ellipse bounded by the Elliptical Road. Its main feature is an art deco–style mausoleum containing the remains of President Quezon and his wife, First Lady Aurora Quezon. The surrounding gardens contain playgrounds, fountains and the World Peace Bell monument. Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center is a zoo and botanical garden, with a lagoon, crocodiles and peacocks.
